The Azores have launched the Destino Seguro Açores Voucher

IMPORTANT! The voucher stopped working at the and of August, 2021.

I.e. a Voucher Safe Destination Azores. This is a travel voucher for travelers with tests. Whoever does the test before arriving in the Azores, and not after (check HERE for what it is about), will get a 35 EUR voucher to use for tourist attractions in the Azores.

Voucher starts working on the 26th of May, 2021.

What are these attractions?

Restaurants, bars, tourist and leisure activities, vehicle and equipment rental, and services of travel agencies and tour operators.

Where did the idea for the voucher come from?

In times of a pandemic, our common security is particularly important. The Azores are currently one of the safest places in Europe. This is all thanks to the joint effort of the Azorean government and the Azorean people. And respectable tourists who follow the rules in force here.

In order for both residents and tourists to feel safe here, the Azores have introduced a tourist voucher promoting people who take the SARS-CoV-2 test before traveling.

Conditions for using the voucher:

1. The voucher is available to all non-Azorean travelers to the Azores (non-residents of the Azores).
2. These travelers must test for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 max 72h before the flight to the Azores and complete the My Safe Azores form. In this form, you must provide personal data, attach a negative test result and agree to the use of your data for the voucher.
3. Healthcare professionals check the correctness of the form and any other documentation upon your arrival in the Azores.
4. If everything is correct, a Destino Seguro Açores voucher of 35 EUR is sent to your email. The voucher consists of a QR code and an alphanumeric code. It also has an expiry date (20 days).
5. The voucher is used while making the payment. You must show the code. The discount is applied when paying for the goods or services. The list of places where this voucher can be used is available HERE.
6. The voucher can only be used during one transaction. If the price is lower than the value of the voucher, the entire voucher is used anyway, no change will be given.
